Jayhawk Nation... Please take advantage of our district parent/teacher conferences this week. Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in both buildings. In addition, the USD 346 Technology department is offering a session for parents wanting more information on how to connect with USD 346 using various technology platforms. Those sessions are offered both nights at 6:00 PM in the HS auditorium.

USD 346 has been notified by state and local authorities that several school districts have been the target of a hoax. The targets have received phone calls claiming that there is violence and injuries at the local school. In every case, the calls were proven false! USD 346 has NOT received any calls claiming this, yet we are working with our local School Resource Officer and the Sheriff's Office to ensure student safety and the continuation of normal operations.

Boys Substate Basketball begins tonight at Jayhawk Linn. St Mary’s Colgan will play our Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks at 7pm at JLHS. Admission to the game is $8 adults/$6 students and reminder no passes will be accepted since this is a post season game. Good Luck Jayhawks!
Congratulations to Denton White who finished his Freshman wrestling season today at the KSHSAA 3-2-1A State Championships with a medal for a 6th place finish. He finished the tournament with 3 wins and 3 losses. Denton is Jayhawk Linn’s first ever Freshman State Placer and he is the first Jayhawk wrestler to ever reach 40 wins in a season. Great work Denton!
Denton White goes 1-1 on the first day of the KSHSAA 3-2-1A Boys Wrestling State Championship in Hays. He will wrestle at 9am tomorrow morning in the 5th round on the consolation side of the bracket. Good Luck Denton!

Those high school students interested in Trapshooting this spring, Trapshooting Coach Jesse Secrest will be having an informational meeting at Pleasanton High School Commons/Gym on Wednesday, March 1st at 6pm. This meeting will be for parents/students who are interested in participating in the program this spring.

The Jayhawk Linn High School Boys Basketball team are the 2-seed in the 2A Erie Basketball Sub-State next week. We will host St. Mary’s Colgan High School on Monday, February 27th at 7pm at JLHS in the first round game. Come out and support your Jayhawks take on the Panthers!

The Jayhawk Linn Lady Jayhawks are the 6-seed in the 2A Erie Basketball Sub-State and will travel to Northeast Arma High School on Tuesday, February 28th in Arma at 7pm for their first round game. Drive on down to Arma on Tuesday and support our Lady Jayhawks!

Congratulations to our Jayhawk Wrestlers today at Marion High School in the 3-2-1A regional tournament! Denton White qualifies for state with a 2nd place finish in the 106 lb bracket as a Freshman, and Junior Andres Flores guts out a 4th place finish after an injury earlier in the tournament to qualify in the 165 lb bracket. Great job by all of our wrestlers competing today representing our school and community!
JES met their American Heart Challenge fund raising goal. More that $6,800 have been donated to this cause in our school's name!!! Way to go, Jayhawk!!!!!!
