The Annual Jayhawk Linn Summer Volleyball Tournament is happening tomorrow — Wednesday, June 18, 2025 — at Jayhawk Linn High School!
Both Varsity and Junior Varsity schedules will be in play, with approximate match times listed.

The Pleasanton/Jayhawk Linn Combined Trapshooting Team had a phenomenal day at the state tournament!
As a team we set a new team PR with 475/500 and finished 7th out of 41 teams.

Many shooters set a new PR today. We have a very young team with 17 first year shooters out of our 41 team members. It is very encouraging when our veteran team members perform at such a high level and set a great example for so many younger shooters just beginning their careers.
Eight shooters have earned the opportunity to compete at Nationals in July.

Good Luck to our Jayhawk Linn State Track qualifiers and coaches tomorrow morning as they compete for 3A State Championships! 3A boys pole vault kicks off the start of the track meet at 8am at Cessna Stadium on Friday. Also on Friday will be the girls high jump as well as the preliminary hurdle races. Good Luck Jayhawks!
Jayhawk-Linn Pole Vaulters Shine at West Franklin 3A Regional Track Meet
It was an outstanding day for the Jayhawk-Linn boys pole vault team yesterday at the West Franklin 3A Regional Track Meet. Truman Schneider and Gabe Springer delivered an incredible performance that had the crowd on its feet.
Both athletes soared past the competition, securing the top two spots. With only Truman and Gabe left in the event, they pushed each other to new heights—literally. Truman cleared an impressive 14 feet, tying the JLHS record previously set by Gabe.
Not to be outdone, Gabe went on to match his record, then raised the bar—clearing 14'6" and finally 15'—setting a new JLHS pole vault record for the third time this season!
Phenomenal work, boys! We’re all excited to see you bring this momentum to the State Meet next week. Go Jayhawks!

The Jayhawk-Linn softball season came to an end today at Allen County Community College, as the Jayhawks fell to Iola in the semifinals with a score of 12–3. Despite the loss, it was a strong season for the Lady Jayhawks, who were crowned Three Rivers League Champions for the second consecutive year.
Senior Gracee Willard capped off her high school career with an impressive 563 strikeouts—the most in school history. This outstanding group of seniors played a major role in the team's 64 wins over the past four years.

Congratulations to the Jayhawk Linn High School Softball Team on advancing to the 3A Regional Semifinals with a 9-0 win over Fredonia today at home. Senior Gracee Willard dominated the game with 16 strikeouts while giving up only one hit from the pitchers circle. The Lady Jayhawks advance to play the #2 seed Iola Mustangs tomorrow at Allen County Community College Softball Field in Iola. Game time for the Jayhawks is 2:30pm. Prairie View will play the Burlington Wildcats in the 1pm semifinal ahead of the Jayhawks. Winners will advance to the Regional Championship at 4pm tomorrow. Admission: $8 adults/$6 students

Jayhawk Linn Softball Regional Game at Home with Fredonia today has been postponed until tomorrow (5/20/25) at 3pm. We will plan on hosting at home but if field conditions are not playable we will move the game to Allen County Community College in Iola tomorrow.
Jayhawk Linn High School Golf Regional at Columbus has now changed to a shotgun start at 9am tomorrow morning ( 5/19/25).
