Good Luck to our 321A State Bound Wrestlers! The Jayhawk Girls and Boys Wrestling State Qualifiers travel to Hays today to prepare for the 321A State Tournament held at Gross Memorial Coliseum at Fort Hays State University Friday and Saturday. Wrestling starts at 9am Friday morning. General admission : $11 students & adults

Jayhawk Linn Boys and Girls Basketball teams both host the Baxter Springs Lions in the Quarterfinal round of 3A Substate Basketball Thursday evening! The Lady Jayhawks team are the #1 seed in the 3A Substate hosting the #16 seed Lady Lions tipoff at 6pm. The Varsity Boys are the #4 seed in the Substate hosting the #13 seed Lions and should tipoff around 7:30pm. If the Jayhawks win they would move on to the semifinals and host next Tuesday (Boys) and Wednesday (Girls) evening. The theme for Thursday night is RED Out so everyone come out and support the teams wearing your red! Reminder since it is a substate game no passes will be accepted and admission is $8 adults and $6 students. Good Luck Jayhawks!!

Jayhawk Linn Activities Week 2/23-2/27/26

Jayhawk Linn Boys Basketball team completed a 6 game win streak to end the regular season at Northeast Arma and a 3rd place finish in the Three Rivers League! The Jayhawks locked in the 4th seed in the 3A West Franklin substate at 15-8 on the season. The Jayhawks will host the #13 seed Baxter Springs Lions Thursday night at home following the Girls Varsity game. Good luck to our Jayhawks!

Congratulations to the Lady Jayhawk Basketball Team on completing an undefeated Three Rivers League Championship on Friday at Northeast Arma! Senior Brenlyn Bogan had a monster game on Friday with a triple double 16 pts, 11 steals, and 10 assists! 3 other senior players had a big game as well with Brea Dawson scoring 16 points, Brilyn Bogan scoring 11 points and Jude Wade collecting 15 rebounds! With the win the Lady Jayhawks secured the 1 seed for the 3A West Franklin Substate and will open play this Thursday at home vs 16 seeded Baxter Springs.

Jayhawk Linn Boys Wrestling Team had a great day at the 321A Eureka Regional Tournament! The Jayhawks qualified 5 wrestlers for the 321A State Tournament in Hays next week, while finishing 3rd as a team with 140 points out of 23 teams.

Jayhawk Linn Basketball Teams close out the regular season tonight at Northeast Arma. Girls JV game starts at 4:30pm followed by varsity girls and JV boys at 6pm and Varsity boys at 7:30pm. The Jayhawk Linn Varsity Girls look to complete an undefeated Three Rivers League Championship tonight and lock in the #1 seed in the 3A substate starting next week! The Jayhawk Linn Varsity Boys look to finish the regular season tonight with a 6 game winning streak and lock in the #3 seed in next weeks 3A substate.

Jayhawk Linn Wrestling travels to Eureka Saturday ( 2/21/26) for the 321A Regional Tournament! The Jayhawks will take 12 wrestlers Saturday to compete for a top 4 spot to qualify for the 321A State Wrestling Tournament next week in Hays! The regional wrestling tournament starts at 10am tomorrow. Admission: $8 adults/$6 students

Dear Jayhawk-Linn Families and Staff,

Today we experienced a fire alarm activation at Jayhawk-Linn caused by a microwave incident. I am pleased to share that all students and staff responded exactly as they should—everyone exited the building promptly and followed directions safely and calmly.

We are grateful for the quick response of our staff and students who assisted in ensuring everything was secure. After the building was cleared, students and staff were able to return inside and resume normal activities.

Safety is always our top priority, and today’s response demonstrated that our procedures work and that our school community takes them seriously.
