Jayhawk Linn Boys Wrestling had a great tournament at the Wildcat Classic Saturday in Louisburg! The Jayhawks scored 162.5 team points and placed 3rd as a team, their best showing ever at the tournament that is made up of 14 larger 4A, 5A, and 6A teams. The Jayhawks were led by Senior Denton White who won the 138lb championship in a stacked bracket. Also winning the championships on the day were Landon Higgins who won the 113lb championship and Tanner Holt who won the 120lb championship.
Brady Felt finished 2nd in the 165lb division
Layne Goodison finished 4th in the 144lb division
Aedin McGregor finished 4th in the 106lb division
Josiah Haen finished 4th in the 215lb division
Also competing for the Jayhawks were Paul Haen, Kollyn Malinowsky, Brayden Robertson, and Max Lawson.

They resume competition this week at the JV Boys Tourney in Wellsvile on Thursday and the Varsity Wrestlers will compete in the ultra tough 2 day Bobcat Tournament at Basehor Linwood High School Friday and Saturday!
The Jayhawk Linn High School Girls Basketball Team are off to a great start to the season. The Senior led Lady Jayhawks are 8-0 on the season with all wins coming by 25 points or more so far! Senior Brenlyn Bogan is listed on KSHSAA Covered’s list of State Leaders in points scored and steals on the season! Come out and support the Lady Jayhawks as they host 9 home games over the next month!
