Reminder that our district parent teacher conferences are kicking off this evening from 4:00 - 8:00PM. We are very excited to see our JES families to share the progress of our students.
Congratulations Celeste Schneider on finishing 7th overall yesterday at the 321A Substate Girls Golf Tournament at Crestwood Country Club in Pittsburg! This makes 4 straight years that Celeste has qualified for the 321A State Tournament! Celeste will travel to Salina next week to compete on October 20th and October 21st at Salina Municipal Golf Course in the State Tournament! Great job Celeste!
The USD 346 Board of Education Meeting will be held at 6:00 PM in the Jayhawk Elementary Cafeteria.

As we enter the season when common illnesses tend to rise, please keep the following recommendations in mind: keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, and ensure they are fever-free (without medication) for at least 24 hours before returning.
Come out and support our Jayhawk Linn Cross Country teams today at the Sugar Valley Clubhouse as we host the Coach Chet Hunter Memorial Cross Country Meet! 7th grade races begin at 4pm and are followed by 8th grade, Junior Varsity, Girls Varsity and Boys Varsity races! Our Jayhawk Linn Teams have been running great this season and will be exciting to watch today! Good Luck Jayhawks!

1:40–2:10 PM – Homecoming Parade
2:10 PM – Pep Rally at the Amphitheater
2:30 PM - JES students will return to the elementary school.

Congratulations Celeste Schneider on her 2nd place finish at the Tonganoxie Girls Varsity Golf Tournament yesterday at Painted Hills Golf Course! Celeste had a great day scoring a 77 her personal best round, on a challenging golf course with a strong field of golfers! Great job Celeste!
Josie Wade medaled in 6th place on Monday at the Girls Varsity Golf Tournament held at Woodland Hills in Fort Scott by Uniontown High School! Congratulations Josie!!
