The Spring Play is tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Tonight's performance begins at 7:00 pm with the Saturday Matinee starting at 2:00 pm. Come out and enjoy "The Bold the Young and the Murdered".
The Jayhawk Linn High School Track Team had a great night at the 2A Regional Track Meet in Lyndon yesterday! Both Boys and Girls Jayhawk Teams finished 3rd overall in the regional. The Jayhawks qualified 13 athletes on the team for the KSHSAA State Track Meet next week in Wichita.

Coach Dustin Johnson will have a parent/player meeting on May 22 at 6:30pm in the high school gym for all parents of players planning to participate in high school football next fall. This meeting is to outline summer schedule and expectations for all players going into the upcoming football season.

The Lady Jayhawks win the semifinal regional game 4-1 as Sophomore Pitcher Gracee Willard throws a 1 hitter against Uniontown and they move on to the Championship game against the Northeast Arma Vikings! Game will start in about 25 minutes at Fort Scott Community College. Good Luck Lady Jayhawks!
2A Regional Baseball quarterfinal games are tonight for the Jayhawk Baseball team. Admission: $6 students and $8 adults. The Jayhawks first game is scheduled to start around 7pm against KC Christian, but if the 3 early games happen to finish early our game will start 25 minutes after game 3. Games will be played at the Jewish Community Center Baseball Complex at 5801 West 115th Street in Overland Park. Good Luck Jayhawks!
2A Regional Softball continues today at Fort Scott Community College, the Lady Jayhawks won last night 5-0 over the Erie Red Devils. The Jayhawks first game to day will start around 4pm against Uniontown with the winners playing shortly afterward in the regional championship game. Admission for the regional games is Adults: $8 and students K-12 $6 Good Luck Lady Jayhawks!
Congratulations to Isaiah Casner on his 9th place individual finish at 2A Regional Golf yesterday at Fort Scott Woodland Hills Golf Course! His finish qualifies him for the State 2A Golf Tournament at Hesston Golf Course next Monday, May 22nd and 23rd. Great job and Good luck next week at State Isaiah!

The 2-1A regional softball tournament starting Monday has changed locations. All games in the tournament will now be played at Fort Scott Community College Softball Field at Fort Scott. The field is located on the southwest side of the college off of Ellis Street. Game time is still 4:30pm on Monday

Jayhawk Linn Girls Track team finished 2nd as a team in the League Meet today! Great work going into the Regional Track Meet at Lyndon next week!

Varsity Golf at Deer Trace today at Prairie View has been postponed until Friday, May 12th with a 9:30am start.
The 2-1A Regional Bracket has been released and the Jayhawk Linn Softball Team will be the #2 seed in the Uniontown Bracket. The Lady Jayhawks will play the #7 seed Erie Red Devils at approximately 4:30pm on Monday, May 15th at Uniontown High School in the quarterfinals. . The softball field for Uniontown is located just on the East side of Uniontown Elementary School.

Jayhawk Linn Baseball drew the #2 seed in the regional and will play Tuesday, May 16th against the host #7 Kansas City - Christian. The Jayhawks will play game #4 of the evening Tuesday which is scheduled to start approximately around 7pm, at 5801 West 115th Street in Overland Park. The 1st game of the quarterfinals starts at 1pm on Tuesday.

Jayhawk Nation...This morning before school BUS #8 was approaching the campus of Jayhawk Linn High School to drop passengers off and had to make an abrupt stop to avoid collision. While the bus successfully avoided a collision, the suddenness of the stop unfortunately caused some passengers to make contact with the seat in front of them. A few students went to the nurse as soon as they arrived at school, and those parents were contacted by phone. Other students were called to the office by the nurse to make sure they did not have injuries.
