Congratulations to our Lady Jayhawk Varsity Basketball team and Coaches on getting a 47-32 win last night over the Chetopa Hornets! Both Boys and Girls teams play tonight at home in our Courtwarming games against Central Heights. JV Girls start @ 4:30 full game followed by JV Boys with a full game Varsity Girls tipoff at 6pm followed by Varsity Boys. Pajama Day at Jayhawk Elementary is Friday, February 11, 2022.

Congratulations to our Jayhawk spellers who competed in the Linn County Spelling Bee this morning. Tyrus Chadwick was the winner of the Spelling Bee and will represent Linn County at the State Spelling Bee on March 26 on the Newman University campus in Wichita, Kansas. Tanner Holt was the runner-up and Alayna McCarty was the third place winner. Other Jayhawk spellers competing today were Rachael Felix, Brady Felt, and Aubreigh Summers. The students were coached by JES teacher Kim Boehm and JLHS teacher Courtenay Slinkard. Great job Jayhawks!!!

High School Varsity Girls Basketball will compete in a rescheduled game tonight at Chetopa starting at 6pm Good Luck Lady Jayhawks!

Rich Hill has cancelled our JV Basketball games for tonight. So there will be no games at Rich Hill tonight.

Postponed All high school basketball games with Saint Paul scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, February 4th, are postponed. We will post a reschedule date when that information becomes available.

USD 346 will be in session on Friday, February 4. The district supports the decision to keep students at home if parents/guardians feel like their situation warrants such action.

With school closed due to road and weather conditions the following activities are cancelled for tomorrow. Boys and Girls High School Basketball at Osawatomie are cancelled and will not be rescheduled. High School Regional Scholar’s Bowl at Flinthills High School is postponed until Monday, February 7th at Flinthills High School. Be safe and stay warm!

Unfortunately, the notification platform that USD 346 uses is experiencing technical difficulties with their call center. Some phone calls may not be sent through correctly. Please know that USD 346 will be closed on Thursday, February 3rd due to inclement weather.
