The Jayhawk cross country teams had a great season opener at Anderson County. Kollyn Malinowski won the JV boys race with Truman Schneider, Landon Higgins, Jayden Mayhugh finishing in the top 10. Gabby Parsons and Adeline Randall took second and third in JV, with Haelie Wallace in the top 10. On the Varsity side, Simon Shillito, Louis Shillito, Daniel Brake, Lily Meyer, Allie Thomas, and Brylee Doleshal all medaled.
Martin Shillito finished second in the 8th grade boys race and Josie Wade fourth for the girls. Darbi Brake took third in the 7th grade girls race. Great job, Jayhawks!
Congratulations to Celeste Schneider who placed in a tie for 2nd yesterday at the opening Girls Golf Tournament at Columbus! Great start to the season Celeste!
JES will be partnering with local Health Department to conduct annual hearing & vision screenings for all students on September 9, 10, & 11.

Jayhawk Linn High School Football teams kicks off the season this Friday night with a new Three Rivers League opponent the Central Heights Vikings. The game will start at 7pm at Central Heights. Admission: $5 adults, $3 students.

Jayhawk Linn Junior High Volleyball and Football travel to Marmaton Valley tomorrow to open their seasons. The Volleyball games begin at 5pm with an order of play being C followed by B followed by A team.
The Junior High football team will play an 8 man game against Marmaton Valley at 6pm.
Admission: $3 adults $2 students
