Good Luck to our Jayhawk Linn Junior High Basketball Teams as they travel to Uniontown tonight for their first games of the season! Junior High Boys will play in the high school gym and girls will play in the elementary gym. Schedule tonight is C teams will play a running clock 10 minute quarter at 5:30pm followed by B team full game and then A team full game. Good Luck Junior Jayhawks!

Jayhawk Linn Football (8-1) will play in the Regional round of the 1A playoffs tomorrow night (11/3) at Saint Mary’s Colgan (9-0) in Pittsburg, KS at 7pm on the Pittsburg High School Football Field. . For those traveling to the game admission will be $6 for students and $8 for adults, no passes will be accepted since it is KSHSAA playoff game. If you are unable to go and support the Jayhawks the game will be broadcast on the radio on KSEK 107.9 FM. Good Luck Jayhawks!!

Reminder: Junior High Boys and Girls Wrestling Mixer tonight at Jayhawk Linn High School starting at 4pm. We will have 3 mats wrestling throughout the evening. Schools attending will be Columbus, Frontenac, Fort Scott, Girard, Prairie View, and Uniontown. We have 20-30 Jayhawk Wrestlers competing tonight, so take time to come out and support the wrestlers!

Good Luck to Dillon Champlin as he prepares to compete in the 2A State Cross Country Race this Saturday, October 28th at Wamego Country Club! Admission tickets can be pre purchased online for $10 through a link on the KSHSAA website through GoFan or purchased as walk up tickets Saturday for $10 as well (cash only). 4A, 2A, & 1A races will be ran at Wamego Saturday. The races begin at 10 am. The 2A boys race is set to start at approximately 12:20pm. Good Luck Dillon!

Friday, October 27, is "Hocus Pocus drugs aren't our focus" day. Enjoy a fun day of wearing your choice today. Also, please remember we will be celebrating Halloween at JES in the afternoon. We will make a trip up to Main Street for our annual parade. Parties will be in the classroom after the parade.
