Schedule change! Due to Saint Paul not having enough boys players to play tomorrow night we are postponing the Senior Night Ceremony and Varsity boys basketball game scheduled for 1/31/25. We will still host one varsity girls basketball game tomorrow at 6pm with Saint Paul, but again there will NOT be a varsity boys basketball game or senior night ceremony tomorrow. We have rescheduled the senior night ceremony for 2/14/25 between the varsity basketball games with Southeast Cherokee.
Jayhawk Nation, Our schools are dealing with a tragic loss today. Please know that our staff is paying special attention to the wellbeing of our students and that we are offering special supports provided by our community. Jayhawk Linn Boys Wrestling competed at the two day Blue Valley Northwest Husky Invitational over the weekend. Landon Higgins won the championship in his weight class and Brady Felt placed 2nd in his division! Great Job Boys!
Jayhawk Linn Girls Wrestlers competed Friday in the Paola Girls Wrestling Invitational. Alayna McCarty placed 3rd and Leah Nation and Hailei Fortman placed 4th in each of their weight divisions! Great Job Ladies!

Jayhawk Linn Varsity Girls Basketball team is 10-0 on the season and will be playing tonight in the Championship Game of the Kenny Holt Memorial Basketball Tournament against Prairie View. This will be a rematch of the Championship game of the Linn County Tournament earlier this year. The game will start around 7pm in the south gym at Uniontown. Admission $5 adult/$3 Students

Jayhawk Linn Varsity Boys Basketball team will play tonight at Uniontown in the north gym against Pleasanton to finish up the Kenny Holt Memorial Tournanment. Game starts around 5:30pm right after the Erie/Osawatomie girls game that starts at 4pm. Admission $5 adult/$3 students

Congratulations to Denton White on being the 6th Jayhawk Linn High School Wrestler to get into the 100 win club! Denton placed 1st in the 126 lb weight class yesterday at the Aaron Patton Memorial Boys Tournament with all 3 matches ending with a pin in the 1st period! Great Job Denton!
Reminder to our Jayhawk Families - There is no school on Monday, January 20th due the Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 21st. Enjoy your long weekend.

Jayhawk Linn High School Basketball teams have two reschedule dates now for the postponed games during last week’s snow/ice storms.
Jayhawk Linn will travel to Southeast Cherokee on (1/30/25) 5pm start (West Gym)for Junior Varsity Boys/C team boys/1/2 JV girls and a (East Gymnasium) 6pm start for the Varsity Girls followed by Varsity Boys
Jayhawk Linn will travel to Colony-Crest for makeup game in February on Monday (2/17/25) for a 4:15pm start for JV Girls 1/2, followed by JV boys 1/2, followed by girls varsity at 6pm and boys varsity to follow.
Jayhawk Linn Girls and Boys Wrestling Teams travels to Wellsville tomorrow for the Aaron Patton Memorial Tournament. The Tournament begins at 1pm. Girls will wrestle in the East Gymnasium and the boys will wrestle in the west gymnasium and mat room. Admission: $5 adults/$3 students Good Luck to our Jayhawk Wrestlers!
