Trapshooting Parent/student informational meeting for the upcoming season! Meeting will be held Wednesday (3/5/25) at 6:00, in the Pleasanton HS Gym Commons. Students in grades 7th-12th are eligible to participate, please take the time to attend if your student is interested in participating on the trap team this season!

After a hard fought weekend of wrestling at the Girls and Boys 321A State Wrestling Tournament at Fort Hays State University the Jayhawks are bringing home four medalist including the Jayhawks first ever girls medalist! Congratulations to all of our Jayhawk Wrestling State qualifiers and Coaches on another great season! Girls Medalist Alayna McCarty 4th place at 120lbs Boys Medalist Landon Higgins 2nd place at 106lbs Denton White 4th place at 126lbs Tanner Holt 6th place at 113lbs

Jayhawk Wrestlers Denton White and Alayna McCarty will wrestle for 3rd place in their weight classes coming up very shortly! After the 3rd place matches Landon Higgins will wrestle in the finals for a State Championship! Good Luck Jayhawks!

It has come to our attention that PowerSchool may have or will be sending an email out to our parents. This email is to inform you that PowerSchool is offering free credit monitoring services to any parent that chooses to sign up for the service. Jayhawk USD 346 is not providing this service, PowerSchool is the sole provider of this service. If an individual wants to sign up for the credit monitoring, they are more than welcome to do so. As a reminder, there were no social security numbers in the data that was compromised in this breach. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school or the district office. Jayhawk Linn Varsity Boys Basketball will travel to Anderson County High School Friday night to start the 3A Boys Substate Basketball Tournament. The Jayhawk Boys go in to the tournament as the 10 seed and play the Anderson County Bulldogs who are the 7 seed in the tournament. The game starts at 7pm Friday (2/28/25). Admission will be $8 adults and $6 K-12 students, and since it is a KSHSAA postseason activity no passes will be accepted. Everyone take the time to cheer on the Jayhawks Friday night! Jayhawk Linn Varsity Boys and Girls Wrestlers leave tomorrow for the State Wrestling Tournament at Fort Hays State University. They will wrestle Friday starting at 9am and if they qualify for day two, the wrestling starts at 9am on Saturday morning. Jayhawk Linn Lady Jayhawks will host the opening round of the 3A Substate Basketball tomorrow night (2/27/25) here at Jayhawk Linn High School against the Frontenac Raiders at 7pm. The Lady Jayhawks are the #6 seed in the tournament playing the #11 seed Raiders. The game will be broadcast on ESPN 100.7. Admission is $8 adults/ $6 K-12 Students, no passes will be accepted as it is part of the KSHSAA postseason activities. Please come out and support our Lady Jayhawks! Good Luck Ladies!

Dear JES Families, We are so grateful for your support of our Health Move Minds fundraiser! So far, we have raised $3,700 toward our $12,000 goal, and we still have two weeks left to make a difference. The fundraiser will end on March 7th, so there’s still time to participate! We at JES are excited to share that tomorrow Friday, February 21st we will be hosting KC Slugger for a wonderful assembly focused on being a "Great Teammate". We are inviting all students to wear their KC Royals spirit gear or anything "Royal Blue"

Jayhawk Linn basketball games scheduled for Thursday 2/20/25 are postponed/cancelled due to extreme temperatures. Unfortunately the Jayhawk Linn girls games will not be rescheduled and their next game will be the first round of 3A Substate on Thursday 2/27/25. The Jayhawk Linn boys games against Marmaton Valley are rescheduled for Friday 2/21/25 with the following schedule: 2/21/25 Main Gym 6pm Junior Varsity Boys 7:15pm Varsity Boys Courtwarming Ceremony will follow the conclusion of the varsity boys game.

Jayhawk Nation - Due to the adverse conditions of many of our bus routes, as well as the extreme cold that is forecasted for overnight and early tomorrow morning, USD 346 will NOT be in session on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Please stay safe and keep warm!!!
