Jayhawk USD 346 -- 2025 Kindergarten Round Up
Kindergarten Round Up will be April 14, at 6:30 in the Jayhawk Elementary Cafeteria. New kindergarten students enrolling at Jayhawk for the first time will need to be screened on April 14, between the hours of 5 pm and 6 pm. You will need to bring a certified copy of your child's birth certificate and record of immunizations. To make your appointment for this screening please contact Teresa Thompson at (913) 795-2519 no later than April 14, 2025.

JES Families: Favorite Color Day is this Friday, April 11. Wear your favorite color in any attire that you would like!
The Jayhawk Linn Junior High Track Teams competed in their first meet of the season yesterday at the Pleasanton Track Meet. All four teams had a solid first meet. The 7th grade girls team, 8th grade girls team and 8th grade boys teams finished 2nd overall and the 7th grade boys finished 3rd as a team out of 9 total teams in the event.
Great Job by all of those that competed yesterday!
Jayhawk Linn’s Junior High Golf Team (Crew Thomas, Easton White, Max Lawson and Caden Nickelson) placed 4th yesterday at the opening Junior High Golf Tournament. Congratulations to 7th grader Crew Thomas on winning the opening junior high golf tournament yesterday at the Independence Country Club! Crew shot a 44 to win the 9 hole tournament! Great Job Crew!

Baseball games are still a go at 3:30pm at home in Mound City.
Softball Games at Uniontown tonight have been postponed to a later date.
Due to incoming weather JH track will end at 3:15.
PROM UPDATE:
Due to the high probability of 45 MPH winds and rain in the forecast, we have made the decision to move the Prom Walk-In indoors.
Location: JES Elementary Gym
Time: Walk-In begins at 7:00 PM
Doors open at 6:30 PM
Please note: There will NOT be a parade of vehicles this year.
The Walk-In will take place indoors only for the safety of all attendees.

JES Bus Families: Reminder for Wednesday, April 2's PM Bus Routes
Due to driver shortage we will be combining route 4 and route 8 after school routes Wednesday April 2nd 2025. Sugar Valley Clubhouse students will be home around 3:10. Some of the kids in Prescott could be late getting home.
