USD 346 recognizes that the transition being experienced by the Linn County Health Dept. has raised questions about the current Covid-19 policies in our district. Please know that we are working diligently to obtain facts in order to be able to answer those questions. Until we have confirmed certain information, we must assume that the original plan laid out by Linn County Health officials is still in effect and we will continue to follow those guidelines. If those plans are no longer in effect, USD 346 will respond accordingly and it is possible that new guidelines might be required and adopted. We know how frustrating this is for our community and we share in that frustration! Our amazing staff will continue to work diligently to provide for our students and the community.
Junior High volleyball tonight at Yates Center has just been cancelled. There will not be any games in Yates Center tonight.
The Junior Varsity football game at Osage City tonight has been cancelled.
Jayhawk Junior High Football is scheduled to play Central Heights tonight at 6pm at Home.

Kansas High School Activities Association has just released the Classification for 2021-22 school year
Jayhawk Linn is in the 2A classification in all sports for the 21-22 school year.
Also the 2022 and 2023 football classification has been set for the next 2 years in football. Jayhawk Linn will compete in the 1A 11 man division in football for the next two years.

Jayhawk Nation, unfortunately USD 346 is currently experiencing another surge of Covid 19 cases in our schools. We have several positive cases in our elementary building. Our awesome staff is dealing with the situation and we ask for your continued patience with us as we work hard to keep our students in class. Please help us by monitoring your students and keeping them at home if they are showing any of the symptoms associated with the virus. Please also remember that while masks are optional, they remain the best strategy to avoid a close exposure and quarantine.
