Gabe Shaugnessy did qualify for day 2 of the state golf tourney and they will try play the tournament today with a 10:30 shotgun start. If they are unable to finish all rounds today they will revert back to yesterday’s scores for placing in the state tournament.

Congratulation to the Trapshooting Team as they finished the regular season with a conference championship! The following shooters finished in the Top 25 in their division in conference. The trapshooting team will compete at the state tournament in Wichita, on June 19th, 2022.

Due to the incredible effort and hard work JES students have given on state assessments and AIMSweb testing this spring, student attendance will be optional Thursday, May 26. Change of Venue for Regional Baseball today due to field conditions at Central Heights. Jayhawk Baseball will now travel to Humboldt today to finish their regional baseball games.

Congratulations to Gabe Shaughnessy on qualifying for the 2A State Golf Tournament yesterday at Crestwood Country Club in Pittsburg! Gabe finished tied for 7th overall with a score of 89. Gabe will represent Jayhawk Golf Team May 23-24 in the Kansas State 2A Tournament held this year at Emporia Municipal Golf Course.
Jayhawk Softball will play today at Lebo against Central Heights in the 2nd semifinal game starting 25 minutes after the 3pm game.

Jayhawk softball win 12-1 in 6 innings over south Lyon county and advance to semifinal game at Lebo tomorrow and will face winner of central heights and crest. Game time will start 25 minutes after game 1 tomorrow which starts at 3pm
Jayhawks win 11-2 and move on to semifinal game to be held at central heights on Wednesday which is the 2nd semifinal game. Will start approximately around 4pm. Jayhawks will play winner of south Lyon county and Yates center on Wednesday.
