Jayhawk Linn High School Boys Basketball will have a team parent meeting on Thursday, 11/16 at 5:45pm following high school boys practice in the high school cafeteria. Head Coach Lynn Barr would like to provide expectations and information regarding the 2023-24 High School Boys Basketball season.
Sugar Valley Clubhouse bus drop off will be early again today. We estimate Sugar Valley Clubhouse kids arriving at the stop at 3:20 p.m. Also, these changes will make bus 8 students later than normal. We appreciate your continued patience.
Two events at JES Friday, November 10. Patriotic Colors Day, wear red, white, and blue. 6th grade Salute to Veterans Program will begin at 2 p.m. sharp in the gym. Visitors must enter through the front office doors.

Jayhawk Linn Football (8-1) will play in the Regional round of the 1A playoffs tomorrow night (11/3) at Saint Mary’s Colgan (9-0) in Pittsburg, KS at 7pm on the Pittsburg High School Football Field. . For those traveling to the game admission will be $6 for students and $8 for adults, no passes will be accepted since it is KSHSAA playoff game. If you are unable to go and support the Jayhawks the game will be broadcast on the radio on KSEK 107.9 FM. Good Luck Jayhawks!!
Reminder: Junior High Boys and Girls Wrestling Mixer tonight at Jayhawk Linn High School starting at 4pm. We will have 3 mats wrestling throughout the evening. Schools attending will be Columbus, Frontenac, Fort Scott, Girard, Prairie View, and Uniontown. We have 20-30 Jayhawk Wrestlers competing tonight, so take time to come out and support the wrestlers!
Reminder: Flu Clinic tomorrow at Jayhawk. The Linn County Health Clinic reported that they will have plenty of vaccinations. They will still accept signed consent forms if you are interested.
