Tuesday morning, November 7, bus 8 will continue to be about 20 minutes early. Bus 8 will have extra students to pick up at the back gate of Sugar Valley and the back side of Mound City, including the children on 1st street, Hemlock and 850 Rd.
Good Luck to our Jayhawk Linn Junior High Basketball Teams as they travel to Uniontown tonight for their first games of the season! Junior High Boys will play in the high school gym and girls will play in the elementary gym. Schedule tonight is C teams will play a running clock 10 minute quarter at 5:30pm followed by B team full game and then A team full game. Good Luck Junior Jayhawks!

Jayhawk Linn Football (8-1) will play in the Regional round of the 1A playoffs tomorrow night (11/3) at Saint Mary’s Colgan (9-0) in Pittsburg, KS at 7pm on the Pittsburg High School Football Field. . For those traveling to the game admission will be $6 for students and $8 for adults, no passes will be accepted since it is KSHSAA playoff game. If you are unable to go and support the Jayhawks the game will be broadcast on the radio on KSEK 107.9 FM. Good Luck Jayhawks!!
Reminder: Junior High Boys and Girls Wrestling Mixer tonight at Jayhawk Linn High School starting at 4pm. We will have 3 mats wrestling throughout the evening. Schools attending will be Columbus, Frontenac, Fort Scott, Girard, Prairie View, and Uniontown. We have 20-30 Jayhawk Wrestlers competing tonight, so take time to come out and support the wrestlers!
Reminder: Flu Clinic tomorrow at Jayhawk. The Linn County Health Clinic reported that they will have plenty of vaccinations. They will still accept signed consent forms if you are interested.

Bus 3 will be back to their normal morning pickup time beginning Thursday, November 2. Bus 3 includes northwest Mound City, Lake Chaparral, over to 1077, and up to south Centerville. Thank you for your help.

Two important bus announcements for today: Sugar Valley Clubhouse will drop off today at 3:15 p.m. Bus 3 will be about 10 minutes late dropping off this afternoon. Bus 3 includes northwest Mound City, Lake Chaparral, over to 1077, and up to south Centerville.

RAIN OR SHINE: PTO Trunk or Treat is Saturday, October 28, from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Linn County Fair Grounds. PTO is hoping for the same people that made it so great last year to be there again with trunks of candy.
JES will parade on Main Street today. It's looking like the weather will cooperate enough for us to be outside without getting soaked. We will begin dressing at approximately 12:45 p.m. We will leave school between 1:10 p.m. and 1:20 p.m.
Good Luck to Dillon Champlin as he prepares to compete in the 2A State Cross Country Race this Saturday, October 28th at Wamego Country Club! Admission tickets can be pre purchased online for $10 through a link on the KSHSAA website through GoFan or purchased as walk up tickets Saturday for $10 as well (cash only). 4A, 2A, & 1A races will be ran at Wamego Saturday. The races begin at 10 am. The 2A boys race is set to start at approximately 12:20pm. Good Luck Dillon!
