JES Student & Staff Picture Day
When: Tuesday, August 20

JES will be using a new dismissal process for our car riders this year. Our goal is for the car line to flow quickly and smoothly.
How does the dismissal work?
Every student is given a dismissal number and receives a sign with that number that should be displayed in the window of the vehicle picking up your student. Thank you in advance for your kindness and patience during the first few days of implementation.
All girls interested in participating in Jayhawk Linn High School Girls Golf this fall, Coach Thomas will have a meeting Thursday at 4pm in the cafeteria to provide information regarding practice and tournament schedules.
Parent Meetings for the following junior high fall athletic activities will be held tomorrow evening during the Parent/teacher conferences at Jayhawk Linn.
6pm Junior High Football in Coach Holt’s Classroom
6pm Junior High Volleyball in Auditorium with Coach Ware
7pm Junior High Cross Country in Coach Long’s Classroom

Jayhawk Nation, Please join us on Wednesday, August 14, for our Back to School Open House. Both buildings will be hosting a come and go event from 12:00 to 8:00 PM. Come meet your teachers, check out your classrooms, and make sure to meet the new school administrators!
Any 5th and 6th grade kids interested in playing tackle football the first practices will be held on the highschool practice field on Wednesday August 14th and Thursday August 15th at 6:30pm.

Jayhawk Families, It is with great pleasure and pride that I inform you of a recent announcement that we have received this week. A local organization - Grady's Kids INC. will be providing school supplies for all students here at JES. This is a basic list of supplies that each family will have to cross reference to our specific list here at JES. On Wednesday August 14th during Open House @ 6:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria - Mr. Kramer and Mrs. Nichols will discuss the new graduation for the classes of 2028 and beyond.
First Day of School at USD 346 is Thursday, August 15. Online enrollment is available at www.usd346.org or you may visit campus this week from 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.

Just a reminder. If you are still needing to enroll a student, USD 346 Enrollment is now open. Patrons have the option of visiting our website for online enrollment or visiting campus to enroll in a face-to-face setting. Our face-to-face enrollment will end today at 3:00 PM.

Reminder: Each Attendance Center will be open both July 31st & August 1st from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm to assist anyone in completing the enrollment process.
Coach Zerr will have open gym tomorrow evening from 6-7pm at JLHS.
Jayhawk Linn High School Football Camp will be held 7/15, 7/16, 7/18, 7/19 this week for all high school football athletes. Camp will be from 7-9pm approx on Monday and Tuesday. Thursday and Friday start times will be dependent on the weather/temperatures.
Jayhawk Linn Junior High Football camp will be this week July 16, 17, and 18th from 6-8pm for all incoming 7th and 8th graders interested in playing junior high football this fall. Camp forms can be brought first night of camp. Have athletes bring cleats and gym shoes both just in case we have to go indoors due to weather.
