Junior High Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball will get out of practice at 3:15pm today due to the home wrestling tournament at 4pm.
This Thursday, November 7, the concession stand at the JH Wrestling tournament will be serving pretzels and cheeseburger sliders!

Jayhawk Linn Varsity Football will play Troy High School at home Friday night at 7pm.
The Jayhawk Linn Varsity football team secured another Three Rivers League Championship last night at Uniontown with a 53-16 win! The Jayhawks are now 5-3 overall and come out of District #1 with a 2nd place finish in the district. The new post season format gives the Jayhawks the #8 seed in 1A football on the east side of the state. The Jayhawks will host the #9 ranked 5-3 Troy Trojans next Friday night (11/1/2025) at Jayhawk Linn!
Jayhawk Linn Volleyball finished their season today in a tough battle with the 1 seeded Girard Trojans in 2 sets 25-20, 25-21. The Lady Jayhawks finish their season with a 26-12 overall record.
Jayhawk Linn Cross Country Teams have a fantastic day at the 3A Regional Cross Country Meet at Central Heights bringing home both boys and girls team championships! The girls team started the day off big with the following finishing in the top 15 for a regional medal
Freshman Lily Meyer 5th, Freshman Gabby Parsons 6th, Junior Adeline Randall 8th, and Freshman Allie Thomas 15th. Senior Brylee Doleshal finished 16th, Freshman Haelie Wallace 19th, and Freshman Bailie Wilson 40th! With those finishes the girls team won the team championship with 46 points beating Prairie View and Girard by 20 + points! The boys team then followed the girls with a great performance as well! Again 4 Jayhawk runners finish in the top 15 for regional medals! Senior Simon Shillito 6th, Sophomore Kollyn Malinowski 7th, Sophomore Louis Shillito 10th, and Freshman Daniel Brake 15th. Freshman Jayden Mayhugh finished 25th, Sophomore Landon Higgins finished 26th and Junior Truman Schneider finished 27th. The boys also brought home the team championship beating out Girard and Caney Valley! Every Jayhawk Linn runner on the day for both teams finished with a personal best time of the year, what a spectacular performance. Their finish qualifies both teams for the 3A State Championship Races next Saturday morning at Rim Rock Farms in Lawrence. The 3A boys will race at 10:35am and the 3A girls race will be at 12:20pm next Saturday November 2nd! Congratulations to both teams and Coach Long and Coach Spitzenberger!
