Seniors Graduation Order deadline: October 10th If you did not pickup a graduation order information packet, come see Mrs. Gentry. Also you can just visit the Jostens website to order directly. Some of our Jayhawk Linn student leaders attended the 3rd Annual Three Rivers League Sportsmanship Summit today at Fort Scott Community College. Along with approximately 60 students from 15 schools Nate Johnson, Jacen Taylor, Callie Holt and Pyper Grote represented Jayhawk Linn at the annual event. Teacher and Coach Christa Holt was one of the keynote speakers along with KSHSAA Executive Director Bill Faflick, Coach/Administrator Bud Welch of Central Heights, and Official BIll Seidl along with a student representative from Marmaton Valley. The theme each year relates to building league and school sportsmanship year round that can continue to build great experiences for students, coaches, administrators, officials, and fans. Students collectively create the Public Service Announcements by the end of the day, that are read at the beginning of each basketball game during the winter season. The speakers each had a great message today for students to help build sportsmanship and pride in their communities and school through athletics and activities!

Jayhawk Linn Sophomores Class and parents will be hosting the tailgate and concessions stand this Friday for the Homecoming Football game. They will have plenty to eat for the entire family! Come out and support the Jayhawks Friday night and come early for some food!

Parents in PE will be taking place next week here at JES. This year, we kindly request that only adults attend our PE sessions. In order to ensure a safe and focused environment, we are unable to accommodate toddlers or older students at this event. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an enjoyable experience for all.
