Optional Cross Country practice will resume on Tuesday, August 12. There will be an informational parent meeting at JLHS at 5:00 PM that day during the Open House, and then interested runners can meet with Coach Thomas at JLHS at 7:30 PM that evening for conditioning. First Day of regular Fall practice is Monday, August 18.

Optional Cross Country Practice for Thursday, July 31st will be held at the clubhouse at Sugar Valley Golf Course. We will meet in the parking lot at 7:30 PM for an easy run.

The optional Cross Country Practice for Thursday, July 24 is canceled due to inclement weather.
There is an Optional Cross Country Practice on Thursday, July 24th. Coach Thomas will meet runners at the JLHS track at 7:30 PM. Optional Practice dates for next week are Monday July 28, Wednesday July 30, and Thursday July 31. All practices begin at 7:30 PM at JLHS. If you plan on running with us this Fall, please make sure that you get your physical completed and on file with the JLHS office.

Please come dressed to run and bring a water bottle. If the temperature/heat index is too high, we will move the practice inside.

There will be an OPTIONAL Practice as well as a chance to meet the new coach for any student in grades 7-12 who is thinking about participating in Cross Country this Fall. Coach Thomas will be at the JLHS track on Monday the 21st at 7:00 PM. Come dressed to run and bring a water bottle. Parents who want to meet the new coach are also invited. There will be a more formal informational meeting for all student/athletes and their parents in August, but this will be a chance for all of us to get started!!!!!

Reminder: Jayhawk Linn Junior High Football Camp will be this week July 8, 9, and 10th (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 8am to 10am at the high school. Everyone needs to meet at the front entrance of the high school. Athletes need to bring the following cleats, gym shoes, tshirt and shorts in case of weather and practicing inside, also bring a water bottle.
Jayhawk Linn High School Football Camp will be Monday-Thursday this week (7/7-7/10) from 6am- 7:30am. Coaches will check out helmets tomorrow morning starting at 5:45am.
Jayhawk Linn High School Volleyball Open Gym Practice for Frontenac League tomorrow (7/7/25) at 7am-8:30 am at Jayhawk Linn High School.
JV Tournament starts at Frontenac tomorrow at 3:45pm and varsity tournament plays at 5:15pm. Both are single elimination tournaments.
