Jayhawk Linn High School Basketball teams have two reschedule dates now for the postponed games during last week’s snow/ice storms.
Jayhawk Linn will travel to Southeast Cherokee on (1/30/25) 5pm start (West Gym)for Junior Varsity Boys/C team boys/1/2 JV girls and a (East Gymnasium) 6pm start for the Varsity Girls followed by Varsity Boys
Jayhawk Linn will travel to Colony-Crest for makeup game in February on Monday (2/17/25) for a 4:15pm start for JV Girls 1/2, followed by JV boys 1/2, followed by girls varsity at 6pm and boys varsity to follow.
Jayhawk Linn Girls and Boys Wrestling Teams travels to Wellsville tomorrow for the Aaron Patton Memorial Tournament. The Tournament begins at 1pm. Girls will wrestle in the East Gymnasium and the boys will wrestle in the west gymnasium and mat room. Admission: $5 adults/$3 students Good Luck to our Jayhawk Wrestlers!
Jayhawk Linn Girls Wrestling Team travels to Chanute Mixer today 1/16/25 for a 4pm start. Admission: $5 adults/$4 students. Good Luck Ladies!
Tomorrow (1/17/25) the Jayhawk Linn Basketball teams travel to Uniontown for a league contest, with the Varsity Girls playing in the south gym starting at 5pm and the Junior Varsity Boys starting at 5pm in the north gym. Good Luck Jayhawks!
Next week Jayhawk Linn Varsity Basketball Teams will travel to Uniontown for the Kenny Holt Memorial Mid Season Basketball Tournament. The Jayhawks open play Tuesday 1/21/25 against Erie. Schedule change: Due to the week of weather challenges we are moving Senior Night for basketball, scholars bowl, and basketball cheer to the home game on January 31st against Saint Paul. The senior night ceremony will be held between the girls and boys varsity basketball games.
Jayhawk LInn Junior High Boys and Girls Basketball teams will end practice today at 3:15pm.
Jayhawk Linn Junior High Basketball Games scheduled for tonight at Home vs Northeast Arma have been cancelled due to the weather forecast and will not be made up.
Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that our Kindergarten through 6th-grade students will soon participate in a skating unit during their PE class time! Your child will be bringing home a permission slip for this activity in the coming days.
This year, thanks to a generous grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield, the cost of the skates, typically $8, has been reduced to just $1 per child. Please ensure the signed permission slip and payment are returned to your child’s classroom teacher by January 17th.
If you would like to contribute additional funds, any extra donations will go toward future skating-related expenses to benefit our students.

USD 346 will be OPEN on Thursday, January 9th, 2025. We understand that some roadways are still impacted by the winter storm and if you do not trust the road conditions, we support your choice to keep your students at home. As a result, all absences will be excused should you choose to keep your student at home. Also, late arrivals will not be counted as tardy should you choose to bring your student later in the day.
