Jayhawk Linn Junior High Volleyball will have an open gym/practice tomorrow afternoon from 2:30pm -4pm. Volleyball players need to enter the school through the front entrance.
Jayhawk Linn Junior High Football will have a morning practice from 8-9:30am tomorrow morning 8/29/25. Drop off players in the back parking lot for access to the locker room.

Jayhawk Linn High School Football team will travel to Neodesha tomorrow evening for the Football Jamboree. Jayhawk Linn will have controlled scrimmages against Neodesha, Uniontown, and Erie with a start time of 6pm. Admission is $3 for adults. Neodesha Booster Club will be grilling and hotdogs and hamburgers for purchase.

Due to an unexpected event, Bus 7 riders have joined Bus 2 for this afternoon's route.
If your child rides Bus 7, their drop-off will be delayed by about an hour.

Apologies for the late notice! Volleyball sign-ups for grades 3–6 will be held tonight, August 21, from 5:30–7:30 PM in the JES cafeteria.

JES Families: Notice our Car Rider Line Adjustments. This will eliminate the backup for our district buses and allow all students to smoothly dismissed from our building. These changes start this afternoon - 8/15/25.
"JES Families: Please call the office before 2:00 PM for any transportation changes. This helps us ensure a smooth dismissal. Reminder: All students will now dismiss at 3:25 PM. Thank you for your cooperation!"
There will be an informational meeting at JLHS this evening at 5:00 PM for those interested in Junior High and High School Cross Country. The practice that was originally set for 7:30 PM this evening has been canceled. Coach Thomas will share information about training this week at the 5:00 meeting. Practice officially begins on Monday, August 18!
Any student in grades 8-12 that were here last year, have paid their tech fee AND have completed enrollment can stop by the JLHS Tech office tomorrow during open house to pick up their iPad. All new students and 7th graders will receive their devices after the first day of school.
Jayhawk Linn High School and Junior High will be hosting Fall Sports parents meetings during the open house Tuesday 8/12/25 at 5pm. The following sports will hosts parent meetings at that time: High School football, volleyball, cross country and junior high football, volleyball and cross country.
