Faculty and Staff of Jayhawk-Linn would like to thank all community members and patrons for coming out to eat Chili and support Janie Alcorn. The outpouring of monetary support was overwhelming and we are grateful to have such a caring community to support one of our own. Thanks for the monetary donations and the items for the silent auction. It was all appreciated and will be used to help Janie with the many costs she has incurred in these past few months. We will also be selling raffle tickets for both quilts, tonight and Friday night at the home Basketball games. The quilt drawing will be on Friday.
Also, through donations from our community, our staff, and the CWS Women’s Organization, the J-Store was able to gift 62 Valentine Goodie Bags to our students. The randomized drawing was a huge hit and very exciting for our winners. Thanks again for giving to our students of your time, talent, and treasure.
