As many of you are already aware, a Jayhawk family has experienced tragedy. Shelley Collette, JLHS para-educator and coach, unexpectedly lost her husband Andrew recently. JLHS will act as a collection point for anyone who would like to make a monetary donation to this young family as they manage this difficult time. Your love and support during this holiday season would be much appreciated. Donations will be collected in the JLHS front office.

Secret Santa has delivered gifts to JLHS! Many of the merchants in town as well as various clubs, organizations, churches, and individuals have donated items to be given out for Christmas! We will be having a drawing later this week to give out the Christmas gifts to students at Jayhawk Linn. Good Luck! Maybe Secret Santa will be visiting you!!!

The High School basketball link for tonight’s game will take you to NFHS network, you will be required to create a free account with a username and password, then you will need to search for Osawatomi’s live feed, you do not have to pay the subscription fee that the NFHS will ask for. If you create the account and find Osawatomi’s page you should be able to watch free of charge

Reminder that KSHSAA's spectator policy takes effect today, December 10. JLHS is hosting a HS wrestling event tonight beginning at 4:00. Parents/Guardians will check in at the front table and must wear appropriate mask or face covering at all times.
High School basketball tonight for JV girls has been cancelled. Due to this change the entire schedule for this evening has been changed. JV boys basketball will play at 4:00 followed by the Varsity boys at approximately 5:30 and then the Varsity girls game at approximately 7:00

The Kansas State High School Activities Association has amended their previous ruling on spectators at winter activities. Beginning Thursday, December 10th, 2020, KSHSAA will allow up to two parents/guardians per family of a participant to attend the event. In addition, KSHSAA is requiring that spectators wear a mask or facial covering to help prevent the spread of disease.
JLHS and JLJHS understand that these restrictions may be inconvenient, but we ask that you abide by KSHSAA's mandates to help protect the winter seasons for our student athletes.
