Students learning how to place glass in frames

Students in Art 2 and 3 got to experience a different art form than what we are able to offer here at Jayhawk-Linn.  A little unassuming art studio called Globe Art Glass in Overbrook Kansas taught our students the basics in stained glass.  Each student that attended got to create their own small masterpiece in one sitting. The students learned something new and so did their teacher.  It was well worth the time and cost to attend.  Thank you to our small community for supporting our concession stand fund raising throughout the year which makes trips and opportunities like this possible. -by Dawn Carlson
