Jeana Brownback and her students have been busy this semester gathering and researching different historical pieces to start a Classroom Museum. The museum pieces were donated from local Mound City people and from family members and are set up on shelving units displayed around her room. Some of the pieces are as old as the early 1800's including a tailor's catalog book where men picked out the fabric for a new suit. There has been a lot of hard work put in from her 7th grade students. They have researched the items and have created QR codes where anyone can scan them and find out the information about each object. Thank you to Mrs. Brownback for her vision and execution to bring history to life. The museum is open to students during the day 1st, 5th, 6th and 8th periods. Also, from 7:45-8:45 and 3:15 -3:45 the public can view as well.
